A fellow Caricaturist...

This is a digital painting of a fellow artist , Jan.

I might return to it soon. The background needs

to be a bit more subtle...and of course I didn't

do a proper job on the shirt.

It's getting closer to being finished...

Some more changes on this one.

Alexa Ray Joel

Alexa Ray Joel; is the daughter of Billy Joel, the Rockstar, I saw her face in a magazine and well I knew, I just had to draw her. It did take me some time to get really do a decent caricature of her; thanks to the amazing advice one can get to the forum, I was able to pull this off. :)

I've been drawn...AGAIN!!!!

This one blew my mind! It's by a wonderful artist and friend Angel Contreas; he won 10th place for Caricature artist of the year at the annual ISCA convention. The likeness in this sketch is amazing! He hasn't posted this on the forum, however, that is where he drew it from. Kudos Angel, and thank you!

Yesterday I posted a Caricature of David op de beeck.

I wasn't happy with it. I wanted to make it more grimm

looking. Well here is the finished product.

Inky sketches..

Here I have a couple of recent ink wash sketches
the top is a polar bear; I saw a political cartoon
this week of one and it made me want to draw my
own. And the bottom is a Goldfish, I had fun with
this one; the bubbles were cut out of fabric different
patterns of course, and I glued them to the piece.

The posts just keep coming...

Here is a recent painting that I recently finished;
ahhhh... It took about a week to plan and get supplies
and well complete. My initial idea was to paint the
chandelier realistically but then one thing led to
another and before I knew it....I tried some new
techniques with this I added glitter to the paint
to make the little dots/crystals sparkle...and I
added some ink and fabric on the side for some
reason I'm not sure why but I enjoyed the
results...none the less here it is.

Big Tom Brennan; and to the bottom we have Issac Klunk.

Here is one of Jud Livley...I really like where this
one went with the whole creepy factor.

to the top is a korean, her name is Spring Lee
and at the bottom is Lindsey.

This is What I did at the annual Caricature Convention
in Sandusky, OH

I'm really happy with what I produced at the CON
I didnt expect to do what I did. Alot of people were
turned off to my style but there were some who
found it different. I do agree it is a bit different, but
I was trying somthing different; I hope that I can do
well next year it is a real challenge to see people this way
but I think it was good excercise.

Le First Post.
